The Yellow Ribbon program allows institutions to enter into an agreement with the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA) to cover tuition and mandatory fee costs above those covered by the basic Post 9/11 GI Bill®. Syracuse University has entered into a Yellow Ribbon agreement with the VA so that uncovered costs above the basic amount are split “50/50” between SU and the VA, resulting in no tuition obligation for eligible individuals. Additional information on eligibility can be found at: US Department of Veterans Affairs Yellow Ribbon Program
