OVMA Resiliency Program (ORP) for Veterans and Military-Connected Students at Syracuse University. ORP aims to provide comprehensive support to address academic, financial, physical, and social needs, with a special emphasis on personal and mental well-being. The Office of Veteran and Military Affairs Resiliency Program (ORP) is not a medical facility and does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 or seek immediate assistance from a healthcare professional.

For immediate safety concerns or emergencies on campus, you can contact the Department of Public Safety (DPS) at 315.443.2224. The Syracuse City Police Department can also be reached by dialing 911.

DPS is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The DPS office is located at 005 Sims Hall on Main Campus and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the academic year. Public Safety employees are also accessible at security desks and various locations around campus.

Counseling Services:

Syracuse University students experiencing a mental health crisis, seeking support for sexual assault or relationship violence, or needing urgent medical consultation can receive free, confidential services 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 315.443.8000.
