If you’re highly competitive, have a desire to serve your country, and want both certainty and flexibility in your future career, consider the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. You’ll simultaneously earn the commission of second lieutenant in the U.S. Army or Air Force and a Syracuse University degree. You’ll combine leadership training with a regular academic major—a combination that will prepare you for both military and civilian careers.


US Army ROTC logoSyracuse University’s Army ROTC college leadership program offers a commission as a second lieutenant in either the active Army or Reserves/National Guard in a variety of career fields including Combat Arms (Aviation, Armor, Artillery, Infantry, or Engineers), Combat Support, and Combat Service Support branches. ROTC also provides you with discipline and money for tuition while enhancing your college experience. There are two-, three-, and four-year scholarship programs available, as well as funds for stipends and book expenses.
